All proceeds from the benefit, including your generous donations, support our core programs: the annual Festival, Kid Flicks, our national tour, and FilmEd Field Trips.

In everything that we do, we utilize the power of film to help young audiences better understand themselves and the world around them. NYICFF programs are designed to generate empathy and create community in an environment where kids are truly taken seriously and encouraged to use their voices.

We prioritize equitable access to our programs by offering subsidized tickets for families in low-income communities, providing Field Trips to Title I schools free of charge, and offering steep discounts to communities with limited resources.

Schools are given Title I status when at least 40% of the student body comes from low-income families.
