Ticket FAQs

I can no longer attend a screening. Can I get a refund for my tickets?
Refunds are only offered if tickets were purchased in error or if the screening is cancelled by NYICFF. Click here for full refund details.

How can I buy tickets to a sold out screening?
We run a waitlist for every sold-out screening that can be joined in-person at the venue up to two hours prior to the screening. Tickets will be sold to those on the waitlist no more than 5 minutes before the start of the screening.

Do I need a ticket for a small child?A ticket is needed for any child over 2 years old. Children under 2 that will sit on a parent’s lap may enter without a ticket.

Is there reserved seating?
Seats are reserved for NYICFF Members at the Cinemascope level and higher. All other tickets are unreserved and seating is first come, first served.

I can't access tickets early even though I'm a member.
You must log in to your Elevent account in order to access tickets during the Member early access window.

Do I need to print my tickets?
All NYICFF venues are able to scan tickets directly from a device, so there is no need to print them. You are welcome to print tickets if you prefer.

What happens if I am running late?
NYICFF does its best to accommodate late-comers, but may release tickets to customers on the waitlist once a screening has started. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Can I bring a group?
Yes! NYICFF offers group pricing ($2 off each ticket) for groups of ten or more. For bookings of 20 tickets or more, please contact support@nyicff.org.

I have a discount code and I want my school to get credit for my purchase...?
Discount codes can not be used in conjunction with school fundraising partnerships. If you want your school to get credit (of $2 per ticket), you may not use a discount code.
