Ghost School

Precocious 10-year-old Rabia is crestfallen when she shows up to the only school in her village to discover it’s closed. Rumors abound that the school is haunted, and that her teacher’s been possessed by a jinn, a supernatural spirit. Her mother is too busy to answer her questions, and the local authorities offer little help. So begins Rabia’s courageous, solitary journey across the Pakistani countryside to get to the bottom of the mystery by foot, by horse, by any means necessary. As she encounters more evasive adults and people from countless backgrounds, she only grows more determined.
